Mouse Pad Bradshaw and Wandjina painting by artist Melissa Wainer
Mouse Pad of Bradshaw figures by Melissa Wainer.
Artist Melissa Wainer. Daughter of famous artist Kevin Wainer. Keven was the first Aboriginal person to begin painting the Bradshaw figures on canvas. Melissa is carrying on the tradition of painting both Wandjina’s and the Bradshaw figures. The Bradhsaw figures are thought to have been painted by a spirit bird who used his bleeding beak to paint the fine details of this figurative rock art. This Period of painting is late Pleistocene and thought to be at least 45,000 or more years old. The Wandjina Period of painting began sometime after the Holocene commenced around 11,000 to 10,000 years ago.
Mouse pads are with a black rubber back.
